DBS (Criminal Ref Check)

 Apply for a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to get a copy of your criminal record. This is called ‘basic disclosure’. It costs £18. It’s available for people working in England and Wales Cost £18.00  

 The UK National Aviation Security Programme requires those operating within Cargo or Mail either drivers or warehouse operatives to receive appropriate training to ensure that they are familiar with the mandated security measures and their roles and responsibilities to maintain the integrity of aviation cargo and mail and to prevent unlawful acts of interference air and landside.  NON ADR, HGV drivers may transport low level dangerous goods, so require (DGR) training. This training ensures knowledge about the classification, packaging, labeling, documentation, handling, and emergency procedures related to hazardous materials, ensuring safe and compliant transport.  

Suitable for HGV drivers transporting Dangerous Goods by Air, not involved in aircraft loading.

 This course includes an awareness of 1. Health and Safety, 2. Working at Height and 3. Manual Handling. Ensure drivers and other workers are aware of safety responsibilities and the hazards in the workplace. It includes practical advice on accident prevention in the workplace. Learners will also gain an appreciation of near miss reporting, risk assessments, noise awareness, personal protective equipment (PPE) and COSHH.
